Hi, I’m Josiah Richardson, owner of Stronghold Strength and Performance.

I’ve been strength training for over a decade, developing a deep passion for all things strength from a young age. Growing up, I loved being in the gym and got my start in the industry working my first job at the local YMCA. From there, I moved into youth strength coaching and became a Certified Personal Trainer.

I'm a competitive powerlifter and have been competing since 2020. I won national titles in 2021 and placed on the podium again in 2024 and 2025.

I started Stronghold in 2022 to help other lifters progress in their powerlifting journey. As a coach, I believe in meeting each athlete where they are, designing fully customized training programs that match their current abilities and goals. I offer weekly programming, daily communication, and a coaching experience focused on getting you stronger while keeping you healthy.

My athletes have consistently improved, with a 100% meet PR rate and an 89% lift success rate.
